Record year for Swedish ski resorts

The Swedish ski resorts experienced the best season ever 2008-2009. The revenue from sold ski tickets increased with 16% and the number of international ski tourists have never been high. In Åre, Sweden's most popular ski resort, one of four visitors was international. Large national investments are being made of which the greatest part is in accommodation and infrastructure.
